One leak site, 164 domains: why its new copies matter less than you think

Raynim Research · Note · · updated · 9 min read

Leak sites post creators' paid content without permission. Most of them do not stay at one web address. They open copies with almost the same name, like fapello.com, fapello.ru and fapello.to.

A copy like this is called a mirror. So a "fapello mirror" is just another copy of fapello, and every leak site new domain is usually one more copy. We looked at fifteen years of Google's records to see how much stolen content these copies really hold.

Key findings

  • The name of one leak site, camwhores, is on 164 domains. 85 of them are confirmed leak sites.
  • When coomer opened new domains, it kept the old ones. All four confirmed coomer domains were still in use in May 2026.
  • Agencies have had creator content removed from over 740,000 domains. More than half of them were reported for a month or less.
  • Those short-lived domains hold only 1.4% of all removed pages.
  • Domains reported for more than a year hold about 86% of removed pages.

Families

How many domains does one leak site use?

164. That is how many domains we track for camwhores. Mirrors use almost the same name as the original, so we grouped domains by how their name starts.

Leak site Domains we track Confirmed leak sites
camwhores 164 85
thefappening 37 8
fapello 36 16
thothub 31 14
erome 31 9
nudostar 14 5
simpcity 12 4
coomer 9 4
thotsbay 9 4
kemono 3 3

Domains grouped by how their name starts. These are the ten leak sites we followed. They are not always the ten biggest.

The 164 are three kinds of domains. 102 are named exactly camwhores, with a different ending, and 47 of them are confirmed. 20 are numbered copies, like camwhores1.tv, and all 20 are confirmed. The other 42 have a longer name, like camwhoresbay, and 18 of them are confirmed. Some of those 42 may be other sites that borrowed the name.

The first one, camwhores.tv, appeared in Google's records in November 2015. Agencies have reported it for nearly 26,000 creators.

Pattern

What does a camwhores new domain look like?

Nine new domains at once. Nine of them, from camwhores1.tv to camwhores10.tv, first showed up on the same day in June 2022. In April 2024, nine more showed up on one day, with rare endings like .cheap, .trade and .bid.

Google removed much less from these batch copies. From camwhores.tv it removed about 80% of reported pages. From the numbered copies it removed between 9% and 27%.

From the April 2024 copies it removed less than 13%. Usually this does not mean Google said no. Agencies often report pages before they show up on Google, and Google cannot remove a page it never showed. Why a low DMCA removal rate is a trap explains more.

Migration

Where did coomer go?

Nowhere. coomer opened new domains but kept the old ones. On 4 May 2026, the last day of Google's data, all four were still being reported.

Domain First reported Last reported Removal rate
coomer.party 2022-01-05 2026-05-04 77.2%
coomer.su 2023-06-08 2026-05-04 82.7%
coomer.st 2025-07-27 2026-05-04 15.7%
coomer.com.co 2026-02-07 2026-05-04 99.5%

Google's data ends on 4 May 2026. A domain reported on that day was still online.

Timeline: coomer has opened four confirmed domains since 2022. All four were still being reported on the last day of the data, 4 May 2026.
All four confirmed coomer domains were still in use when the data ends

kemono, a similar site, did the same. It has three domains, from 2020, 2023 and 2025. All three were still reported in the last days of the data.

We track 36 fapello domains. The first, fapello.com, is from December 2021, and it was still reported on the last day. The newest confirmed one appeared in February 2026.

It has already been reported for nearly 9,000 creators.

Clones

How do leak sites avoid takedowns with "leaked" copies?

Four copycat sites showed up on the same day in June 2022. Each one took the name of a known leak site and added "leaks" or "leaked":

  • erome-leaks.com
  • thothub-leaked.com
  • nudostar-leaked.com
  • thotsbay-leaked.com

Google removed only 10% to 13% of the pages reported on them. It said no to about 1%. Most of the rest were not on Google yet, or were still waiting to be checked.

Weight

How much stolen content moves to new domains?

1.4% of removed pages. We took all the domains Google has removed creator content from, over 740,000 of them. For each one, we counted the days between its first report and its last.

How long it was reported Domains Share of domains Share of removed pages
30 days or less 417,198 56.4% 1.4%
31 days to a year 193,999 26.2% 12.9%
More than a year 128,927 17.4% 85.7%

Days between the first and the last report for each domain.

Bar chart: domains reported for 30 days or less are 56.4% of all domains but hold only 1.4% of removed pages. Domains reported for more than a year are 17.4% of domains and hold 85.7% of removed pages.
More than half of all domains hold only 1.4% of removed pages

More than half of the domains stop being reported within a month. Most stolen content is on the domains that last longer than a year. That is only about one in six domains.

For the domains we track, the gap is even bigger. Domains reported for a month or less hold 0.5% of removed pages. Domains reported for more than a year hold about 92%.

Adversary

Are new leak site domains copies of known ones?

About two in five are. We took the confirmed leak sites that first appeared in the last year of the data, from May 2025 to May 2026. We sorted them by hand, going by their names, and kept the 64 that are clearly adult or leak sites.

What the new leak site is Sites
A copy of a known leak site, like coomer.st, kemono.cr or simpcity.cr 25
One of a group of sites named a word plus "onlyfans", like plumonlyfans.com 14
A new site with a name not seen before 25

Confirmed leak sites first reported between 4 May 2025 and 4 May 2026, sorted by hand by their names.

So most new leak sites do not reuse a known name. Knowing the old names does not tell you where the next one will be.

Traps

One way this data can fool you

Our scanner checks each exact domain against our lists, never just the name.

Data & method

  • Source. Google's Web Search copyright removal export, cut on 2026-05-04: 46,891,226 requests and 855,087,358 request-domain rows.
  • Creator filter. Only requests from 2,077 reporting organisations that match creator-protection agencies. The same filter builds our lists.
  • Leak sites. Domains on the confirmed and grey lists, grouped by how their name starts. The camwhores group includes names such as camwhoresbay and camwhorescloud.
  • How long a domain lasts. Last report date minus first report date, for domains with at least one removed page. That is 740,124 domains in the whole record and 85,384 on our two lists.
  • New leak sites. The 135 confirmed leak sites first reported in the last 12 months of the data, sorted by hand into groups by their names. We left out 59 that look like ordinary websites and 12 with names made of random letters, which leaves 64. As a cross-check, 26 of the 135 start with the same word, four letters or more, as an older domain on our lists.
  • Removal rate. Pages removed divided by pages reported. Reported pages include pages not on Google, pages Google declined, and pages still waiting.

FAQ

Does a leak site new domain mean my takedowns failed? No. The old domains usually stay online, and takedowns still work on them. Domains that last a month or less hold only 1.4% of removed pages.

Should I file takedowns against every new copy? Start with the old, big sites instead. They hold about 86% of removed pages, and Google keeps removing from them. Domains that last a month or less hold only 1.4%.

Why does a leak site come back after a takedown? Usually it never left. When a site opens a new domain, it keeps the old ones running. All four confirmed coomer domains were still being reported in May 2026.

How do leak sites avoid takedowns? They open many copies at once and copy each other's names. It does not help them much. Sites older than a year hold about 86% of removed pages, and Google keeps removing them.

What we do with this

Our free scanner searches Google for the name your fans use. It shows which leak sites come up and how easy they are to find. You do not need an account or a card, and you do not upload anything. Check your name.
